CHANGE
Song, Story and Development
We came up with the theme of 'change', with which they each designed a scene that shows what change means to them. The team have been working on their storyboards and mood boards to ensure we all have a clear and cohesive vision.

The song
Aaliyah is an incredibly talented singer and worked with a sound engineer at the ECYC music studio to create a song for the video, with Nura and Marlon helping her to write the lyrics.
We are getting deep into production now, and ticking lots of major tasks off of our list.
Completed production tasks:
- Storyline and themes
- Moodboards
- Storyboards
- Lighting plans
- Costumes
- Set Design
- Budget
- Schedule
- Crew list
- Choreograoher
- 2/3 Locations
- Equipment

Nuras scene
Nura's scene is all about how her life changed when she moved from Portugal to England this summer, and how she dealt with it.
It is set in a dark and gloomy house. She wants to use lights to tell a visual story by having orange light coming through the doorway she enters to represent Portugal, and blue lights filling her bedroom to represent her sadness upon arriving in London.

Lighting: Orange and Blue
Set: Derelict Bedroom/House
Extra Dancers: 2
Dance Style: Ballet/Street

Marlons scene
Marlons scene is about how people change within a relationship. He shows how two people change as they grow up and eventually go their separate ways.
It is the simplest of the three scenes, set in a dark empty room with a few spotlights.

Lighting: Spotlight
Set: Empty space
Extra Dancers: 1
Dance style: Contemporary/ Street
Aaliyahs scene
Aaliyahs scene is the most comlx of the three and is all about change within herself. She shows how she struggles with bullying and peoples opinions of her and eventually decides not to let them affect her anymore and to believe in herself.

Lighting: Red
Set: Alleyway or Corridor
Extra Dancers: 4
Dance Style: Street
Aaliyah created the idea of an all red space with glow in the dark quotes covering the walls.

She would be amongst 4 other dancers;'the bullies' who will wear masks and all red costumes whilst Aaliyah will wear all white.
